Vikings, What?

I’m kind of worried about Mitch … I think he’s going to do something not so good with the music video. L-P has a big sales presentation soon with the Vikings, and I heard he might try to sabotage it! I hope not … it would be fun if we won the account. Some of their players are hot stuff!!

Dancing with my Flask

Well he talked me into dancing in the latest video! She’s got Leeeeggggggsssssss! Yeah, yes, YES! I had on the hottest outfit and danced like they did back in the day. Mitch gave me a flask (!) filled with Raspberry Tea! Delicious! Fun dancing with my flask! Can’t wait to see the final cut!!

Back on Track

Back on track! I had a couple extra Ras T's today and am feeling like I can accomplish anything! I am going to switch to plain ole which does the trick (!) and it honestly tastes just as good, perhaps even more refreshing! Mitch and the gang are looking a little green, again. Wonder what the problem is? May be that too much time is spent brainstorming with the boys.

Discovery

I have discovered something important. Fighting Indooritis is not your run of the mill walk in the park. If you let up for even a day or two the original symptoms start creeping in ... this is a full time, every single day gotta fight it off FIGHT! I haven't had my diet White T with Raspberry in a few days and I swear today that pall was all over me.

Out of the Loop

I heard through the grapevine that Mitch and Bill are going to do a MUSIC video. I feel sort of out of the loop and I think it is BILL who is to blame. I am not going to be put off! I have a lot to contribute to the fight against Indooritis! Look at me! I am the very poster child of the great outdoors!

All mighty Power of T

I have to tell you, I don't know which amuses me more... Barry all taped up or Bill fishing for compliments. You know, it doesn't really matter- what matters is winning the war on Indooritis! Drink your T! Good for you, and even helps fight those twinges to CALL GUYS WHO IGNORE YOU! Wonder if it will keep me from emailing? I think it will! I need another glass NOW! The cafeteria better get on the horn and get some more T here for the rest of the gang... the mean green monster machine of Indooritis is taking root here yet again! Lipton is the cure for sure

Well! Obvious why I was kept in the dark on the latest video! It is all about the "guy" thing and FISHING!!! I also discovered that the cafe is totally out of TEA!!!I dont know what people are doing at the office, I feel so deprived!

The quiz Bill made to fight Indooritis is hilarious! What isn't hilarious is the Mitch obsession with the guys! They are making another video and it seems I am going to have to talk my way into this one. I must admit though, no matter what Mitch does, I feel 110% better than I have ever felt! My Mission

People are starting to get it - I mean why they feel depressed and green, we are a nation (world!) suffering from Indooritis. I cannot believe I once thought this project was a job! It is an adventure! I feel like I am on an important mission to help save the world ... though my world would be a little better if a certain someone would pay just a bit of attention to ... !

I still want my Vacation

He is a clever one, Mitch! Oh! Raspberry tea? My favorite- I drank so much yesterday I thought I was turning sorta pink… He is really a lot of fun to work with… speaking of which I found some great vacation spots- my little L-P escape fantasy. I’ve always wanted to go rafting down the rafting down the Colorado River. Probably you can’t wear heels though.

Mitch thinks Indooritis has struck again! He is out of remission… he mentioned shopping with him? Hello! Okay! I’m game. Frankly, I am still a little green around the gills myself… what colors go with Indooritis green?

Sometimes the boys go overboard. But you know, what they are saying is true. Indooritis makes people green, depressed … If you can’t get outside bring the outside in. You know, I felt bad for dumping the Lipton project in Mitch’s lap, but you know what? I realize all my procrastination wasn’t a character flaw … it was a chemistry flaw! Lacking flavanoids, suffering from Indooritis. I am not sure I would have put the two together! Mitch is dreamy … and steamy … and I better get some more ice!

Mitch wants to fight Indooritis worldwide! Great idea and I am going to help him do it. Little sweet tea, ice cubes clinking, it has me thinking about fighting Indooritis with Mitch… and a great way to go on vacation with him! Yikes! Only problem is he’s been spending every night after work the last week with that Forrest Rivers guy, planning something secret out in the woods. “Communing with the great outdoors” is all he says. I did hear a rumor Mitch wants to take me to a Twins double-header …not a vacation…but a good start!

I was wondering if anyone has any super cool ideas about fighting Indooritis. As fun as the water slide is, I am not sure everyone can get away with doing it in the office - though wouldn’t the world be a much happier place if we could waterslide with hotties at work every week? If two heads are better than one, then two hundred, two thousand, two hundred thousand ideas… wow! Work with me!

My Awesomely Unexpected Day

Our top secret is out. Water Slide At Ludlow-Parkes! Even Barry took a ride. It was such great fun! Mitch cut his pants into shorts! Surf’s up! I’m so glad I kept that bathing suit in my bottom drawer. What a fun, fun insane day. I felt like a little kid again! Who knew fighting Indooritis could be such a blast? I have to tell the world about this … Fighting Indooritis is a full time job!

V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N

I think I need to find some sort of creative thing to do- and has to be outdoors. Not sure what. Maybe I need a vacation. I do need a vacation. Going on vacation alone? Nix that! Maybe I just need an hour or so with “Project Slippery Slide” as Mitch calls it. Oh someone left bottles of peach iced tea on everyone’s desk last night … which was great since I had nothing to go with my mandarin orange salad. I feel good! Wonder what other surprises are in store …

Someone just called me “Astro-babe.” I think that’s a good thing. Maybe I’ll think up a nickname for him. Green Goblin? I’ll work on that in my spare time. When I’m not here crusading against Indooritis. Mitch “floated” a new theory by me today- “water trumps Indooritis”. He said it like it was this pronouncement from above. He’s a funny guy. Cracks me up. Anyway, he’s working on a new plan. Something with lots of water and lots of plastic. Hmm. Weird Bill also started setting up halogen video lights on tripods around the office. What are they up to? Be afraid. Be very afraid.

News from the swamp

Mitch and Bill are officially Indooritis Poster Boys! To bring in the great outdoors Bill put this movie- Swamp Thing?- on everyone’s desktop! The swamp isn’t my idea of a good time- I’m much more of a beach person- but the movie certainly raised the spirits around here. And with all the tea Mitch has gotten us to all be drinking we now have a lot more to talk about when we wait in line for the rest rooms. It’s strange, but his pale green skin blushes a little when he talks to me. It’s kinda sweet. In a swampy way.

Forrest Rivers

I keep catching myself singing that “Kokomo” song. What is that about? A symptom of something?!?!?! Of … Indooritis? Somehow I think there’s a Mitch connection here. He’s a good little soldier though. He left me a copy of a report written by one Forrest Rivers. Cute. Indooritis propaganda. Who’d of thunk it? Maybe I’ll organize a hike through the woods in honor of Mr. Rivers. That way we could see the Forrest for the trees! Clever, right? Ok maybe not. But we could all use some more time outside. This I know.

My quest for fresh air

So this guy I work with is really digging into the Indooritis research. I think he’s beginning to see it as some kind of quest. To him, it’s not just an assignment (or maybe an excuse to meet someone special, not that guys even think like that, duh), it’s a cause, a mission with a Capital M. All good. Especially if he gets the girl in the end. Hmmmm. Just found a packet of Lipton mixed berry Green tea in my top drawer … think I’m going to get my ladybug mug and get some fresh air. Yeah, I definitely need more fresh air.

Indooritis ..

I love my job, I really do but sometimes I have to do ‘extra projects.’ I hate doing extra projects. Love the money, hate the projects. I shouldn't complain but …. Grrrrrr! We have a new client, Lipton, who wants us to do research on something called Indooritis??? I am going to see if this guy who works here would like to help out with it. He really is the perfect person to help me with my new project... maybe we could drink a little tea, go for a walk outside...

Life at Ludlow-Parkes

Hi guys! I’ve finally got my blog up and running. I would have done it sooner but I’ve been addressing envelopes for the past 6 weeks. It’s Parkes again. When I first started working at L-P I thought this is the best job in the world- boss stays out of my hair (not anymore), the research is fun... And the food in the cafeteria is really good. Too good. My clothes are getting a little tight –arggggh! Then there’s this guy … kinda hot in that frat-boy-gets- a real-job kind of way. Only thing is, he may be spending a little too much time here under the fluorescent lights. He’s got this- I hate to say this, but it’s true- greenish skin?!?!?!. Word has it that he gets here just as the sun comes up and leaves after it goes down. And he’s not the only one. Pale green seems to be the company color these days. It’s the new tan here at L-P. . I can’t wait for summer to come along… Wonder if the cafeteria is still open…
